Innovation hubs and co-working spaces have been opening up all around the country. Whether it is up North or the various cities, in the Southern region, the important roles which they play are being noticed.
Lagos State was the first to birth one, so, it is no surprise that there are a lot more concentrated in this city than any other part of Nigeria. With Lagos also recognized as one of the few tech savvy cities in Africa, it is expected. Here are a few hubs and co-working spaces in the city;
Co- Creation Hub
The first hub in Nigeria which led the way for a lot that has happened in the Nigerian tech scene, Co-Creation Hub is number one. Founded in 2010 by Bosun Tijani and Femi Longe, CC Hub as it is popularly known, provides a platform where technology-oriented people share ideas to solving social problems in Nigeria. It officially launched in 2011. It provides co-working spaces for individuals and teams and also runs an accelerator programme.
Cranium One
Cranium one which is located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is a warm, open and inviting shared workspace for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Hot desks, separated offices and meeting rooms are made available for subscribers to the hub.

iDea Business Hub
IdeaHub provides spaces for co-working, offices, events and meetings. The hub also has an accelerator programme which is the Information Technology Developers Entrepreneurship Accelerator, established in 2013 to leverage information technologies to bring disruptive change. The hub’s second location is at Cross River.

Venia Business Hub
Venia Business Hub provides serviced workspaces, meeting rooms and virtual offices for its subscribers. The hub takes a more business and formal approach.
Capital Square
Capital Square located in both Lekki and Ikoyi is a collaborative community for independent professionals – entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators. Members enjoy access to a growing network fully serviced work and meeting spaces, event programming, business advisory, and other benefits designed to help out with work.
Cre8 Space
Cre8 is Nigeria’s first fin-tech hub, dedicated to building a community of startups, investors and relevant stakeholders in the industry. Located in Victoria Island, Lagos, cre8 provides fully serviced workspaces and meeting rooms for members.
LitCaf
LitCaf is a coworking space in Yaba which provides an avenue for business people and professionals to network. You also get complementary coffee.
V8 Africa
V8 Ventures is a platform for accelerated business growth across Africa with a simple vision; to bridge the gap between young businesses, investors and highly experienced mentors to ensure rapid commercial growth especially in the digital technology space.
Apart from the co-working space, V8 will also offer an accelerator program for early stage startups, funding, access to mentors, capacity building, and business strategies. They’ll be offering these services to entrepreneurs, professionals and small businesses.

Wennovation Hub is a pioneer innovation accelerator founded in August 2010. The hub has offices not in only Lagos but also in Ibadan.
