Allegedly, India will get the ability to save YouTube videos offline for repeated viewing due the expense of Internet in that zone. Apparently, nobody gave Google the memo that things are as hard and probably more expensive on this side of the pond. Fortunately though, I have a solution.
Instead of streaming YouTube videos you want to watch over and over on your Android phone, just install TubeMate. Once installed, all you have to do is browse through YouTube in the apps’ window, tap the download arrow and you are presented with a number of video resolutions to choose from. Choose the one most suitable for you. That’s it! Easy Peasy. This app has saved me a bunch of bandwidth and it is always nice to have your fave videos handy on your phone to show your friends.
